Holding Tank Pumping
A septic holding tank is a generally septic tank that is sealed on the outlet and do not connect to a drain field. All the waste enters the tank and then must be pumped out by a vacuum truck.

Holding tanks are available in several different sizes, from 250 gallons ( usually for RV’s) to 1000’s of gallons.
Contracts
Some properties cannot be approved for a septic system. Sometimes when this occurs the property can be approved for a holding tank. The owner of the property must contract with a pumping company to pump the waste from the tank when necessary, and annually report to the DEQ.
